Fire Behaviour Analyst (Planning): A specialist position under the plans function of a fire incident management team responsible for making predictions of probable fire behaviour based on an analysis of the current and forecasted state of the fire environment.


FCMC

Fire Cache Manager (Logistics): The person responsible for supervision of the supply of fire equipment assembled in planned quantities or at a strategic location.


FDUL

Food Unit Leader (Logistics): The person responsible for determining feeding requirements at all incident facilities and for menu planning, determining cooking facilities required, food preparation, serving, providing potable water, and general maintenance of the food service areas.


FINV

Fire Investigator (Planning): The person responsible to determine the origin, cause, and development of a wildland fire.


FIRB

Firing Boss (Operations): The person responsible for ground and/or aerial ignition operations and coordinates with resources on wildland and prescribed fire incidents.


FOBS

Field Observer (Operations): The person responsible for collecting incident status information from personal observations at the incident and providing this information to the activated function, or other resources.


FSC

Finance/Administration Section Chief [1 or 2] (Fin/Admin): The person responsible for all financial considerations surrounding an incident.


FWBM

Fixed Wing Base Manager (Operations): The person responsible for supervision and coordination at a fixed-wing base.
